2013 Summit:
Online Learning and the Future of Residential Education

Outcome

In March 2013, Harvard and MIT, with the support of the University of California, Berkeley, hosted a summit on innovations in online learning and their implications for the future of residential education. The summit was a response to the urgent need to come together as a community and to discuss the unique challenges and opportunities that face residential campuses in light of the recent developments in online learning technologies. The discussions that emerged from the summit are published in a summary report.
